If you have ordered a fresh cream cake, then you need to keep it refrigerated below 7ºC until serving. We recommend you do not leave it unchilled for longer than 4 hours total and that you keep it in its container in the fridge to prevent it drying out.
If you have ordered a novelty cake or buttercream cake, then please do not keep it in the fridge – the air in the fridge is very dry and will make your cake dry out too quickly. Keep the cake in its container until needed and store it in a dry place which will not get too warm and where it is not likely to be knocked or damaged.
